Squamish Community Foundation
In (year) Cardinal Concrete made a significant contribution to The Squamish Community Foundation. A spokesperson for the Foundation commented, "Your donation represents a commitment to our community which I know you have demonstrated many times in the past. The Squamish Community Foundation, which is governed by a volunteer board of directors, works to respond to community needs through the generosity of donors and community leaders, to forward the vision of the community, and improve the quality of life in Squamish.
Pemberton Health Care Foundation Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Cardinal Concrete worked in partnership with the Pemberton Health Care Foundation and the Pemberton Valley Golf Course for 8 consecutive years to organize this annual event. The eighth annual tournament in July 2003 was sold out at 144 golfers and raised over $25,000, to bring the eight year fundraising total to $204,000.
Pemberton Fire Hall
In 2003, Cardinal Concrete donated concrete to the Pemberton Fire Department to assist in an expansion to the fire hall. This enhancement, made possible in part by Cardinal Concrete's donation, is a benefit to the safety of everyone in the community.
Squamish Trails Society
Cardinal Concrete and Coast Aggregates have been very supportive through the donation of materials and equipment to assist in building the growing network of trails in the Squamish Valley.
